The following forms of ID are accepted with senior fares.
- State issued photo ID as proof of age 65 or older
- Photo ID and Medicare Card
- Photo ID and DMV placard registration receipt
- Veterans Disability
- Senior Clipper Card
The RTC Discount ID Card is available to qualified persons with disabilities. RTC Card holders are eligible for reduced fares on bus, rail, and ferry systems throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. **Methods of Payment
Customers can pay with cash, a paper County Connection pass, or a Clipper Card.
Cash fares can be paid with cash at boarding or deducted from a Clipper account with a stored cash value.
Clipper Cards must be loaded in advance of boarding. The day pass is only available on Clipper. See the Clipper website to for more information.
