County Connection Advisory Committee
The County Connection Advisory Committee meets bi-monthly on the second Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the County Connection headquarter office in Concord in the Board of Directors meeting room. The primary purpose of the Advisory Committee is to review, analyze, and advise the County Connection Board of Directors on issues and policies relating to fixed-route and paratransit service. Committee members also act as a citizen liaison from the represented jurisdiction. Currently representatives are needed for the cities of Clayton, Lafayette, Martinez, the Town of Moraga and the Town of Danville. The Bus Ambassador Program links volunteer trainers with fixed-route passengers wishing to learn how to use fixed bus service. If you are a bus rider who wants to assist others in your community in learning how to travel by bus in the County Connection service area, consider becoming a County Connection Transit Ambassador. Six hours training is required, followed by four hours per month volunteer time and a one year commitment. For info, contact Mary Burdick at (925) 680-2040 – email@example.com.
