County Connection is seeking proposals from qualified consultants for the design, implementation and analysis of a On-Board Transit Survey fixed-route transit on-board survey.
County Connection has teamed up with Amtrak to accept the Amtrak train transfers for the San Joaquin and Pacific Surfliner trains as full fare payment on the buses. The San Joaquin route travels the Central Valley communities of Stockton, Fresno, and Bakersfield, and the Pacific Surfliner route travels to Santa Barbara.
Train conductors will provide a two-part transfer for passengers upon request. The transfer allows the rider to board buses of any partner agency for free. The transfer slips are valid for two days – the day of issue, and the following day.
