Fall Service Changes Affect Few Bus Schedules – County Connection

Fall Service Changes Affect Few Bus Schedules

County Connection will adjust service on several bus routes effective on Sunday, August 19, 2001. Most of the fall changes are affected by demand placed on the system with the start of the school season.

Route 16 Change – the trips leaving Concord BART at 9:48 and 10:38 PM are removed due to low ridership. Additionally, the trips leaving Crescent Plaza at 10:12 and 11:02 PM will also be removed.

Route 250 Gael Rail Shuttle – will resume on Thursday, August 23, 2012. The Gael Rail Shuttle operates late night between Lafayette BART and Saint Mary’s College on Thursday-Sunday nights only.

Route 260 – will resume service on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Route 260 operates between the Concord BART station and the Cal State East Bay campus Monday-Thursday evenings.

600 Series Routes – will resume beginning August 21, 2011. The 600 series routes operate on school days only to accommodate increased demand during school opening and closing bell times.

County Connection operates a fleet of 29 ft., 35 ft., and 40 ft. fully accessible fixed-route buses, and a fleet of 63 paratransit vehicles. Updated schedules are available at BART stations, City Offices, public libraries throughout central Contra Costa.  For immediate schedule information, please call Customer Service 676-7500 or visit www.cccta.org for more information.

  • I looked on your maps and schedule for the school schedule routes. I could not find it. I am looking for the route and schedule time from Dougherty Valley High School (Albion and Bollinger) going to Tassajara and Monterosso (near Diablo Vista Middle School in Danville). Can you please provide me with before and after school bus route number and schedule times.

    Thank you,

    • Sending this directly to customer service. When was it lost, and what route were you on? Their direct line is 676-7500.

  • Thank you so much for adding additional buses to the #10 line during commute hours. Now I don’t have to freak out if BART is running a few minutes late. Thank you.
