  • You didn’t alert us about the detour of Route 96X this morning because of the Chevron Annual Meeting protests. As a result I had to do a lot of walking (good exercise)to get to and back from the meeting to speak in favor of CCTA’s 1/2 cent sales tax increase on the November ballot.

    • A little difficult to participate in Memorial Services since, as ever, those of us dependent on public transit are left stranded with no bus services on this solemn day. The other bay area bus systems run holiday or Sunday schedules. No reply is necessary since this issue has routinely been dismissed when raised in the past

      • Fortunately, I’m in walking distance of Civic Park in Walnut Creek where we again had our Memorial Day observance and got to speak with Assemblywoman Catherine Baker, Supervisor Candace Anderson and the WC City Council before the ceremonies.

  • Heartbreaking – we live in Martinez and can’t get to the memorial and parade in San Francisco. Cutting off all bus routes strands people, not like the 316 runs that often anyway 🙁

    • And we can look forward to being stranded on Christmas and Thanksgiving too.
