Route 17 Detour – April 14 to April 28

Effective: April 13, 2023 - April 28, 2023

Detours are to North Concord BART ONLY

Detour Option 1: regular route, right on Arnold Industrial Place, right on Peralta, left on Olivera back to regular route.

Detour Option 2 (only if Arnold Industrial Place is closed): regular route, continue on Solano, right on Arnold Industrial Way, right on Peralta, left on Olivera back to regular route.

Bus Stop Closed

Effective: September 14, 2022 - October 31, 2023

Bus Stop # 709, Monument Blvd and Cowell Rd to Concord BART, is closed effecting routes 16 and 616 due to construction. The closest bus stop is Oak St + Galindo St or Concord BART.

Masks no longer required but strongly recommended

Effective: January 3, 2023

As a result of a court order, the federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) mandate requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs was rescinded, and masks are no longer required on County Connection buses. However, CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time.

Routes 712 & 715 cancelled starting 4/20

Effective: April 20, 2020

Starting Monday, April 20, 2020, Early Bird Express Routes 712 and 715 will be cancelled until further notice.

AC Transit will continue to operate Routes 701 and 702 to the Salesforce Transit Center:

  • Route 701 will leave Pittsburg/Bay Point BART at 3:52 am and 4:05 am
  • Route 702 will leave Pleasant Hill BART at 4:04 am

Transit Operator Appreciation Day is Saturday, March 18, 2023, and County Connection, Tri Delta Transit, and WestCAT are offering a day of fare-free rides. No payment will be required.
