Bus Stop Specifications

The Cities and the County are responsible for approving bus stop locations and approving the design for bus turnouts. County Connection Planning staff works with City engineering staff to ensure that new development and road construction projects include appropriate bus stop improvements and passenger amenities. The following guidelines were developed by Orange County Transit Authority and reflect industry standards for bus stop construction.
