Using County Connection’s average trip length (one way) of 5 miles, each person who leaves their car at home and uses the bus will reduce CO2 emissions by 4.6 pounds. Riding just one day a week will make a difference.

  • At the Chevron Corp. Annual Stockholder Meeting at 8am 5/23, at 6001 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon, the Board recommends voting against stockholder proposals to adopt targets to reduce GHG emissions and to report on climate change impact assessment

  • That reduction is wonderful. What percentage is it compared to March of previous years?

    • Actually March 2016 is about 1% less than March 2015. This calculation is based on average daily ridership, and Easter/Spring break were in March this year which always affects overall ridership, so it’s not like comparing apples to apples. The bigger message is that one person and one trip does make a difference.
