  • Bad idea !!! Just about every transit bus in at least the other Bay Area counties is in operation….not only this July 4th, but on Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and Eve, New Year’s Day and Memorial Day.

    Yesterday (Thursday), the Route 15 bus, scheduled to arrive right smack across from where I live, on the 300 block of North Civic Drive at about 5:15 PM, was at least 20 minutes late, meaning that its final stop at Walnut Creek BART at 5:29 PM, didn’t arrive there until 5:50 PM, meaning I was a good 15 minutes late reporting to my place of employment in “south city:” Fed Ex Ground. What happened ?

    • Sorry for the inconvenience on the 4th. Regarding the Rt. 15 yesterday it was reported that the 15 was delayed by up to 45 minutes due to a snarls because of a malfunctioning traffic signal. Everyone was caught up in it 🙁
